Everyday Lenses
The workhorse of lenses, everyday lenses are suitable from reading to driving, depending on your prescription. They’re available in a variety of lens materials, for different prescription types, and with a variety of coating choices.
Photochromic Lenses
Enjoy the ultimate convenience of photochromic lenses. You may already be familiar with photochromics by one of their many other names such as “light-adaptive,” “light-intelligent,” or one of the common brand names, “Transitions®”.
Photochromic lenses adapt to light to automatically darken when exposed to sunlight and conversely, to lighten inside. When indoors they are nearly clear. Optical Lens Lab gives you the option of grey or brown for the darker outdoor state.

Blue Light Blocking Lenses
Why Blue Light Blocking Lenses?
Do you frequently find yourself in front of screens — computer, television, mobile phone, or tablet — or under artificial lights? Those screens and lights emit blue light, the shortest wavelength and highest energy of the visible light spectrum, the part the human eye can see.
While blue light from the sun is useful in the daytime to boost alertness, too much of it can alter your circadian rhythm, create eyestrain, and cause retinal damage.
The human eye isn’t adept at blocking blue light, thus the need for blue light blocking lenses.
Blue Light Blocking Lenses vs. Blue Light Blocking Coatings
Optical Lens Lab offers blue light blocking lenses, which are far superior to lenses that are coated. Coated lenses only reflect a small percentage of blue light, rather than blocking the majority of it as blue light blocking lenses do.
Blue Light Blocking Color Perception
Blue light blocking lenses block short wavelength blue light transmission, but do let in healthy blue-turquoise light to ensure that proper color perception is unaffected.
Blue Light Blocking Lens Colors
Blue light blocking lenses are nearly clear and come in Barely There Grey or Soft Champagne, depending on the lens material you choose.
