Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are having any trouble with your glasses, we want to help.
Prior to contacting us, please be sure you’ve given yourself adequate time to adjust to your new prescription. It can take a week or more to be fully adjusted to changes in a prescription or lens type.
If you’re still having trouble, contact us by email or telephone within 30 days of receipt of your glasses. We will need to inspect the glasses in order to determine if the lenses were made to your doctor’s specifications. We will provide a return address to you, usually via email. We suggest that you ship the glasses in a manner that can be tracked and with insurance.
After inspection, in the unlikely event that it was our error, we will of course remake your lenses at no charge. However, if your lenses were made to your doctor’s specifications, then the problem is with your prescription. In this case, contact your doctor and ask for a recheck appointment to modify your prescription. If you provide us with a new prescription dated within 90 days of the original prescription in your order, we’ll happily do one free “doctor’s redo” for you. We want you to see clearly!
Warranty
We warrant that the frames and lenses we sell were manufactured correctly for the purpose for which they were intended. THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
Exclusions to this warranty include, but are not limited to, damages from: normal wear and tear; accidents; deliberate mishandling; and preventable occurrences.
In the event your glasses have a covered manufacturer’s defect, as listed below, we will replace your glasses with the same frames and lenses, if the frames and lenses are available within the warranty period. We reserve the right to substitute with comparable frames and/or lenses at our discretion.
Warranty Covered Defects and Warranty Period for Frames and Lenses
Frames under $20, manufacturer defects: 1 year from your receipt of the glasses
Frames $20 and over, manufacturer defects: 2 years from your receipt of the glasses
Standard lens scratch coating, manufacturer defects: 1 year from your receipt of the glasses
Anti-reflective lens coating, manufacturer defects: 1 year from your receipt of the glasses
Super anti-reflective lens coating, manufacturer defects: 2 years from your receipt of the glasses
To request a warranty replacement, contact us by email or telephone within the warranty period to arrange for a replacement pair of glasses. We may require that you return the glasses to us for inspection, unless the defect is obvious from a photo. We will send you an email to provide a return address, if applicable. We suggest that you ship the glasses in a manner that can be tracked and with insurance. We will send you an email to give you a confirmation or denial of the warranty claim after inspecting the glasses (or photo of the glasses).
Repairs
While we do not provide repair service, please contact us if you find that you need replacement nose pads. If the frame is still in production, we are happy to order replacements for you.
